We appreciate that English is an important subject that aids the understanding of all other subjects. The ability to read, write, understand texts and spoken words is an essential skill for excelling in all other subjects and in real life situations. A good knowledge and strong understanding of the English syllabus will put your child into a strong position when they come to moving forward, not only academically but throughout their life.

We therefore ensure that our programme in English helps children to develop their knowledge and mastery of the subject as expected for their year group in the National Curriculum.
